Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is based upon the foundational work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, who has now gathered over 46 years of empirical data. The MBSR program is a way of dealing with stress and finding joy in your daily life. Through walking a mindful path, participants develop increased focus, find empowerment and stillness, and learn strategies for stress reduction. Using evidence-based research and a scientific framework, MBSR guides individuals with practical steps to engage in their health and lifelong wellness.

I came to MBSR with an increasing amount of anxiety in my personal life. I needed to find a way to deal with it and this 8-week course was my savior!

Every week, I was able to integrate the mental and physical exercises into my life on a daily basis. I learned to minimize and control my anxiety through breathing, movement, and thought-inducing strategies.
